Life is meant to be easy

By

It's NATURAL for things to work out easily for you. Are you willing to let them-

A client today told me how she had an important task that needed doing but was initially OVERWHELMED and hesitant at the thought of organizing and paying for it.

So she put the task on the back-burner of her mind temporarily and focused instead on the tasks that felt easy and ENJOYABLE for her to complete at the time.

And a short while later, the task was DONE.

For FREE.

With no hard EFFORT on her part.

Out of the blue, someone she had a meeting with offered to get the task done for her and it would be their pleasure to help her out. Some perfect timing then led to the task not only being completed quickly and easily by this person, but to a level that exceeded her expectations and at NO cost.

It all happened in a way she couldn’t have imagined. It was effortless, efficient and easy.

THAT, dear one, IS THE WAY LIFE IS MEANT TO BE.

It’s NATURAL for things to come naturally.

It’s NORMAL for life to be working out for you.

It’s not LUCK or COINCIDENCE,

It’s the natural OUTCOME of being in alignment with your true, whole, highest self.

Of ALLOWING the support, love and well-being that is ALWAYS flowing to you.

This client, instead of pushing herself to take action on the task when it felt difficult and hard, she chose to LET GO of needing to orchestrate the action steps herself and let the guidance and support of the universe assist her.

She focused instead on what felt fun and easy.

And her external world shifted to reflect that.

The seemingly complicated task was transformed to mirror the ease and efficiency she felt.

She CHOSE her energy state. She CHOSE ease. She CHOSE joy.

YOU can make that choice too.

It’s natural for things to be unfolding perfectly for you.

Are you willing to let them?

Hard work is inefficient work.

By

It's not lazyIt's leverage

It’s not bad if it’s easy.
It’s not lazy if it comes naturally.
It’s not worthless it you didn’t have to work hard.

It’s GOOD to feel good.
For action to feel inspired and effortless.
For success to come joyfully.

When things come easily and joyfully to you, that’s not laziness, its LEVERAGE. Its efficiency. It’s wise use of the resources available to you.

When your choices, thoughts and actions are in line with those of your highest self,

The work isn’t hard
The reaching your goals isn’t a struggle
The getting-what-you want isn’t difficult.

If it is, you are out of alignment. What you think about what you are doing (or believe you ‘have’ to do) is off. Out of wack. Not true.

Your work is to change how you FEEL.

By CHOOSING thoughts that feel better.

By allowing ease. Encouraging JOY. Nurturing inspiration. Leaning towards bliss.

Seeing virtue in striving and STRUGGLING and doing the hard yards is a social construct.

IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY.

You don’t have to do stuff you don’t like in order to be worthy or deserving.

You are worthy just as you ARE.

You get your ‘prizes’ because you are a prize.

Not because you EARNED them.

You are deserving by the very NATURE of your being.

If it’s hard or you feel unmotivated, it’s because you haven’t done the mental, emotional, vibrational shifting.

You haven’t gotten yourself IN SYNC with the power, with the limitless energy, that is always available and flowing to you.

You haven’t hooked into the LEVERAGE of having the universe at your back.

But you CAN.

You can do it now.

You can choose ease, joy and inspiration.

It’s always possible. Always available.

You work is to click into it.

Do that work,

And no hard work is required.

Much love,

You have a SUPERPOWER

By

Superpower

You have a superpower that will allow you to create any kind of life you DESIRE.

You have a superpower that can benefit EVERYONE and everything in your world.

A superpower you ALWAYS have access to and can utilize anytime

And that superpower:

You can feel good INDEPENDENT of circumstances.

Meaning, no matter what is happening in your external world, YOU have the power to choose how you feel.

Things turning to crap? You can choose to feel calm and optimistic.

Someone did something upsetting? You can choose to feel centered and loving.

Situation causing anxiety and stress? You can choose to feel at ease and inspired.

No, it’s not always easy to use your superpower (although it become easier and easier with practice).

No, you don’t HAVE to use you superpower. You CAN just let external events determine your emotions (and feel at the mercy of the world, never feeling the satisfaction of CREATING your life)

But it’s always there.

You can wield your superpower anytime you desire through your deliberate FOCUS and your INTENTION to feel better.

You have POWER over how you respond to situations.

You can CONTROL your reactions to what’s happening in your life. You can choose your vibrational/emotional state.

And by doing so, you can control how your life unfolds.

THAT is powerful.

That is super cool.

That is your superpower.

Will you accept you have that superpower?

And more importantly,

will you use it?

What’s your excuse for feeling bad?

By

Excuse

I woke up today on the grumpy side of the bed. In fact, I didn’t even wake up in my bed as I had slept with the bubba who was having a rough night.

This grouchy, irritated, off feeling continued into my morning. And as someone who is used to feeling really good, I can hardly stand being out of alignment.

Nothing in particular was bugging me. But when you are in that state, it also feels like EVERYTHING annoys you.

After a while I asked myself: how much longer am I going to use this (whatever it was, doesn’t matter exactly WHAT was aggregating me) as my excuse for not feeling good. For feeling disconnected from my true, higher, blissful feeling self.

I decided, not ANY longer.

I CHOSE to let that feeling go and CHOSE to head towards joy.

I didn’t get there all at once. It took some deliberate thinking and some soothing actions.

But above all it took my willingness to let go of the justifications for feeling bad and my conscious choice to feel better.

So how about you?

Are you willing to give up the excuses? No matter how valid they may be?

You always have a choice. And any choice you choose is OK. But it’s always a choice.

Do you have it all backwards? (Most people do)

What do you desire?

Why do you want it?

To feel good right? Or successful. Or loved. Or beautiful. Or happy. Or Fulfilled.

Or any other emotion synonymous with feeling good.

This is an attraction based universe and EVERYTHING is energy. Everything responds to the energy state you are in. Which wavelength you are on.

Whatever emotions you are feeling predominately, (which indicates which energy wavelength you are on most of the time) is what you get more of in life.

Feeling fantastic, abundant, radiant, excited, blissful are all on the same wavelength. Feel like that, you get more of it.

Powerless, afraid, lack-full, disheartened, shame, guilt, overwhelmed, struggle: different wavelength. Whole different set of circumstances you are attracting.

You get more of whatever wavelength you are on.

Which means,

What kind of eater you REALLY are.

By

Beach LIght

Ease, pleasure and joy in how you eat and feel about your body.

That can seem like something only others have access to.

A state of being that sounds nice, but is not possible for you.

A goal you don’t ever really feel you can achieve (but that you want it all the same).

But I am here to tell you.

Yes, YOU!

Ease, peace and joy is your NATURAL state.

It is how you would relate to food if it weren’t for the layers of BELIEFS that have been created from various external sources; culture, media, history, family, society, schooling and so on.

It is who you were before you took on the patterns of thought the outside world presented to you.

Its who you ARE.

Right now.

Even if you aren’t allowing that side of you to shine through.

You, the happy, healthy, joyous eater is there inside you.

It is who you are at your core.

And for that reason, learning to embody that person, to BE who you really are, is not only possible but is what your soul is calling you to.

I know that can be hard to believe.

But if any of this make sense to you, its because you can FEEL the truth of it.

It is why you want to change your eating.

It is why you want to feel better.

It is the reason you are reading this now.

Because deep down you KNOW you are meant to feel good. You are meant to feel radiant well-being. You are meant to be who you really are.

Your body is not broken.

You are not damaged or bad for being where you are.

You are merely thinking thoughts (and a belief is just a thought you think over and over) that lead to actions and feelings which cloud the healthy, happy, ease-full relationship with food and yourself that you desire.

And I am here to guide you in reconnecting you with the good feeling way of eating, and living, that is your inherent state.

To reacquaint you with your intrinsic nature.

That joyful, pleasurable way of being that is available to you.

That is always there for you.

That IS you.

Normal Vs Normalized.

By

Woman back shoesPhoto Credit

What’s normal and what’s normalized are two very different things.

What has become normalized:

Deciding to quit sugar and then discussing with friends how bad you have been this weekend because you ate WAY more than you ‘should’ have. Obsessing and worrying about when and what to eat. Never knowing what is the right choice. Being ashamed of parts of your body. Having to ‘work off’ something you have eaten. Failing this diet and that diet. Falling off the wagon. Having to HAUL yourself back onto the wagon. Guilt. Embarrassment. Self-deprecation.

Just because something is common, doesn’t make it normal

What IS normal?

Finding it easy to choose the foods that you love and that help your body to thrive. Having vibrant health and radiant joy. Moving your body for pleasure, energy and enjoyment. Eating in accordance with the signals from your wise, wonderful body. Savoring and relishing what you eat. Having a food relationship that is nourishing and ease-full. Not having to worry or feel bad about when, how and what you ingest. Making choices that love and support your most vibrant self.

and that CAN be your normal.

Because underneath what has become normalized,

is the healthy, happy, intuitive eater and person you really are.

Much love,

Are YOU one of the 99%?

By

Under Water Woman Unsplash

I have been thinking about what most people generally believe about achieving goals and happiness.

We are told that the end justifies the means.

That you should work hard. Sacrifice for a while in order to get what you really want.

Put in the effort.

Focus on the end goal.

Keep motivated.

Pay your dues now so you can reap the rewards in the future.

This shows up in our lives in a number of ways;

– Stop eating that food you love so you can slim down and be happy.

– Put in your 8 hours a day doing stuff you mostly don’t like, for x number of years to finally get the position in that company and you will make you feel so fulfilled and satisfied.

– Stick to a confining budget and forgo the little luxuries that you adore in order to get that thing or take that trip that will make you feel amazing or be so much fun.

I know you have had the experience before of reaching a certain goal (that is, if you even REACH your goal) but having the elated feeling of reaching it, be over all too soon.

The holiday went by too fast.

Or you aren’t as excited anymore about your new phone.

Or the new job was fun for a while but that excitement factor is
really dwindling now.

Or you aren’t still LOVING what you see in the mirror day after day despite toning up somewhat.

That got me thinking.

How much of your time do you spend NOT feeling happy/fulfilled/excited/amazing, in order to achieve your goals, compared with how long you feel good AFTER reaching the goal?

(Knowing that feeling great about you goal is only temporary.)

Spiritual Reminders from a Pre-Schooler

By

Love Heart Flower

I was in a lingerie shop the other day and while trying on lacy undergarments, I heard this conversation from the next changing room;

4 (ish) year old girl: “Mum, you are soooooo beautiful”

Mum: “Awww I will be when I lose some weight”

Girl: “But Mum, you are beautiful now”

Mum: “I think mummy needs to go back to the gym”

Girl (pleading): “But you’re beautiful now!”

Mum: “Do you think so? I am beautiful sometimes I think”

It broke my heart. (more…)
